Global Warming!

I think that Global Warming has become a "Catch All" Phrase for society these days. Now I do believe that we have to correct a lot of the damage we have done to the planet, but it seems that Global s the cause for everything, or answer for everything.
The immigration problem is caused by Global Warming. the War in Iraq is cause by Global Warming. the Election was caused by Global Warming. The financial mess id caused by Global Warming. the Auto Crisis is caused by Global Waring. The Housing crisis is caused by Global Warming. The blister on my finger was caused by Global Warming. The sub-zero temperatures here in Montana this year are caused by Global Warming. and so on.
Now I think the biggest cause of of Global Waring is Over Population. When there was less people on earth there wasn't a threat of Global Warming. I think the baby mills are the problem. I myself have no kids and really don't want to bring any into the savage world. The more people there are the more ground we need and the resources we use, thus making the planet warmer. I think at the Global Warming is is the earth's way of fixing it's self, and telling we're getting too big for our own good.
This is only my opinion and you know what those are like.

German-Irish-Welsh-American

Now I'm not usually going off like this but I'm tired on the hyphenated American thing. I Think that since there are all these, Asian-Americans, African-Americans, and Mexican-Americans, and other -American that the rest of us should start using our ethnic heritage in our self descriptions.
My dads dad was German, his wife was Irish, and both my mother's parents were Welsh, so now I think I should call myself an German-Irish-Welsh-American. It feels like if I don't add all that to my American status that I am forgetting where my relatives came from and that I am not proud of my ancestry even though they were born in this country. I starting to feel like I'm disgracing my heritage by not having all those listed with my American status.

If you have to add where you're from along with being an American, I think we should not leave out where we came from and be left out. I think that is discrimination. We should have all the rights to do so that they do. I think they're should be a United Asian College fund, a United Mexican College fund, a United Anglo Saxon College Fund, and many more.

When our ancestors migrated to the United States from their home countries they became Americans and didn't worry about being polish-Americans, Swedish-Americans, no they adopted just the American nationality, and no one made any bones about it for hundreds of years. Every Nationality has their history and ways of preserving their heritage without being a -American and still being proud.

Maybe if you're THAT proud of your heritage that you have to make it known to everyone else because you're not getting the attention you feel you deserve maybe you should go BACK to your home country and be among your own.

$700 Billion????

Well, I just can't believe the Government wants us to give more of our money to bankers that already make bad choices.
I think if the GOV divided the $700 Billion between us TAX payers and we used it to pay off all our OWN debts to the Banks and other institutions that they would have their money and us, the TAX payers, would have some left to pump back into the economy
Now you know if you made some bad money choices and asked the GOV to bail you out, the GOV you elected would say "it's not our problem you made bad choices" and probably laugh, and or charge you for their time.
I know that I've had troubles myself. After having Back surgery and other health issues years ago I could not afford to pay all the medical bills, and had companies on my butt. I couldn't get any help, I had to file bankruptcy. Now if I had called my CONGRESSMAN and told him my situation and that I needed help and asked the GOV for money to pay my medical bills you know damn well nothing would have come of it. It wasn't even a bad choice I made. Either have the surgery, or don't walk and work again and live on Disability! Hmm, I think I made the right choice and have been working ever since.

I think the banks knew what they were doing and didn't care because like every other big company knows, the GOV will step in and save us, and we can take our billions in severance pay and not be affected.
As a supposed "Government of the People, By the people and for the people", the People we elected aren't helping the majority of the people. And YES we have to take some of the blame because no one is totally innocent here, We The People Elected them.
